Noonan - how about trade Rozy??? That would free up a little space, provided someone will take him...

True Fans....remember when Keenan sat Leetch and Kovalev during the Devils series in 94. I don't think Renney has the balls to sit the high profile guys.

Oh, one of my favorite posts in awhile:
"I’m starting to feel like the win/loss record early in the season was due to a schedule that included some weak teams. This MAY have provided a sense of security that was unjustified." ...and so, although this reader is SLOW, he seems to be getting it!

But then..."I still think (as many have said) that this team is *way better than its record* and way better than they played against NYI, OTT, VAN…"
...And I realize he's just another one.

The "team" is 14-6-2. The "team" isn't actually that good, Lundqvist is!!! 14-6-2 is awesome, too bad it was won on smoke and mirrors and a Swedish prince...this team's problems stem from terrible defensive coverage (which isn't new, it's been there since 2 years ago). Now the problem extends to Renney's mismanagement of playes including over-playing Rozsival (when he clearly needs a breather) and alienating Zherdev and Dubinsky.

I hope the Rangers tank it for about 10 games...Renney gets fired...and then someone comes in who actually understands his players (and who doesn't give a sh!t where he "has" the veterans) so this team can really work hard every night.

I'm sick of seeing Colton Orr, Shjoe, Callahan, and Betts as the 4 hardest working players on this team. I'm sick of seeing Paul Mara and Marc Staal as the only defense that aren't afraid to receive or offer a body check. Time for Renney to hold EVERYONE accountable, not just the under-25s.

Isn't it crazy our best defenseman are Staal, Mara, and Girardi. How are we going to re-sign them with Rosi and Redden making that much loot? HOW!?

"Oh and given the tanking economy, thanks to Comrade Hussein scaring investors, driving businesses overseas and rapidly increasing unemployment, the cap will either not go up, or it will go down."

Hey now. Taxing bussinesses for being successful and capital gains in the midst of the recession = GREAT IDEA TO STIMULATE ECONOMY!

I still think (as many have said) that this team is way better than its record and way better than they played against NYI, OTT, VAN...

So the question is, does this team need to assess and re-define their identity and if so - how should they do that?

"Lighten up house (francis)"

Nice one Jay. "I don't like nobody touchin ME, or my stuff. Any'a you ....."

Staal - reminds me of something that happened a few years back. I went to VT (kaspar..holla!) with a group of freinds. Actually it was during the olympics and the dude that owned the house had msg and was a huge ranger fan. Anyway, there was a devils fan on the trip. There was a huge buck head mounted above the front door, and this jackoff decided to put a devils hat on it as we were leaving. So the next time the owner went to the house, the head had fallen off the wall and broke one side of the antlers off. Make of it what you will.

Sam, I just finished watching the live chat. I thought you made a lot of good points. I have a question that is non hockey related. What kind of watch are you wearing? I can't tell if it is an Oris Frank Sinatra edition.
Yeah yeah, I know this is a hockey blog, but I am a huge watch collector and am just curious.
