It worked for a bit until every team in the league caught on to that watching-paint-dry setup and passing. Then they just said, this is great, so predictable. Then, they simply neutralized it and broke out of the zone with a step on our skating-in-sand offense. No speed mostly equals no surprise to the opponent's defence. I don't want to watch Jagr controlling a Rangers' powerplay ever again. Forget it, he IS the universe, he pretty much told us. At best, he should be back for one year, though I am completely ready to celebrate with fireworks and balloons and cigars and champagne if he is gone. BUT, if he is back for one year, there had better be a spotlight and accompanying microscope on Renney to make damned sure nobody is forced to watch another charade of El Prima Donna lollygagging his way through another season at NYR's expense. What he said should not be news to anyone. I've read this guy like a book for years. Look at his heroic rising in the playoffs. Well thanks bud, but how come I saw you dragging your ass of the ice so slowly sometimes I think we got a too-man-men penalty. It's all about drama with Jagr. If you like that, fine. I hate it.
