why is the argument always: Orr or Hollweg--we don't need both.

When was the last time you saw Hollweg win a fight? We need Orr for that reason. We also need Hollweg for his grit, hitting, and energy. That's what the 4th line is for.

They're very different plays, not at all interchangable in my opinion.

Regardless, I'm psyched to see Byers--love watching the kids play!

"yah there is, Hollweg is a nickle a dozen hockey player. The only thing he’s got going for him is his conditioning. Aside from that, he’s got no discretion, puck talent, or sensibility. If Byers can deliver hits 80% as effectively and contribute in other areas AND stay out of the box (tall order? perhaps) then that is plenty of reason to break up the 4th line."

MAYBE, but not on the Rangers..If Byers can, hit, skate, forecheck and playe defense at the NHL the way Hollweg has over the past 25 games, then fine..And, oh yeah, lets break up a line that has worked hard every night, shown great chemisty and been on the ice for, what, 3 goals against in the lst 25 games?...yeah, who needs defense when we can play kids just for the sake of playing kids...

Looking forward to seeing Byers play. Hopefully he can be the to the Rangers down the line what Darren McCarthy was to the Red Wings in the 90's.

Also, Hollwegg has been on the NHL's wanted list all season. That has completely thrown a wrench into his gears. If he avoids playing his edgy physical game, he is literally useless. If he plays his physical game, not only does he lack 100% integrity in his hitting, but he is also watched like a HAWK because of his reputation. This Catch 22 = lose the Geico rep.

I'm not sure why Hollweg ran out there and board Kostitsyn (?) pretty much knowing he'd get a major and kicked from the game. I'm happy it didn't adversely affect the team, but I lost respect for HOllweg putting his own vendetta over the team's success.

Either Hollweg or Orr are expendable -- certainly both aren't necessary. Nevertheless, they still aren't the reason the Rangers lose (or fall into losing streaks).

I like the ByOB line!!!!

Ya know what stinks about tonights game? Is that even a win doesn't change our spot in the standings. BUT, it will officially make the Atlantic division the most...competitive. It will put 4 teams 1 point apart.

A case could be made for the southeast, but who the hell cares about being the best of the worst?
