My God shooting the puck must be against his religion. Avery made a sweet pass to Mara on the goal but otherwise had a bad night. Gomez continues to look competely lost. Staal was terrific with some booming hits. Girardi had a bad night. Girardi took a bad penalty that really changed the momentum. Isd there a bigger waste of space than Hossa? Hey Coach Tomfoolery take him the frick off the first line. Dubinsky looked really good again as did Jagr. I'm shocked to see how great Mike Comrie has been with the Isles. Dawes had a quiet game until he had a great golden chance late. Rozsival continued his great night by icing the game by fumbling the puck then taking a penalty good game idiot. So when both Cally and Straka return, what do the lines project to be? I am hoping they can keep Dawes on the top 3 lines. I like Hollweg and Orr, don't get me wrong. But we need a better 4th line. It seems like they get pinned in the defensive zone a lot. We need a goal from the 4th line every few games, and with the current 4th line, we may not get a goal all season!! I like the discussion going on here.

You put the three players that play the best together on a line plain and simple. The key is finding three players with chemistry and if it happened to be that Betts works well with Jagr he would be on the 1st line but by no means is he a number 1 center.
