It will also be extremely young if all goes as planned, which is why we need to give Callahan and Dawes a shot to play in the NHL now. Who knows if any of them are NHL material? If you dont give at least some of the kids a shot now, how can you expect them to step into the NHL and be a solid unit, just like that? In my mind, sending Callahan and Dawes down would be a major step back for the organization. They have to be able to contend for the cup while developing future organizational talent.
