Brodeur in for Devils

Posted by: Sam Weinman - Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 03, 2007

Sorry for getting everyone’s hopes up, but Kevin Weekes will instead be in a familiar position tonight, watching a game at the Garden from the bench.

This be good news for Sean Avery given the left wing’s well-documented disdain for Martin Brodeur. Although I’m not sure Avery needs any more motivation than he already has at this point.

More from downstairs in a bit…

Eh, to bad. But Weekes is the best at watching games at MSG from the bench. He’s a HOF at it.

NYR needs to dominate tonight. The Devs have been scoring so there in gear, and Brodeur has been playing good hockey now.

    Tough game, for sure.

So what are the chances Avery actually kills Marty tonight?

I really hope Asham grows his pair tonight, and finally drops the gloves with Orr. He’s been acviding Orrzy for the last 3 seasons. Cmon already.

anyone who thought the devils would start weekes against the rangers are complete fools. no way they will sit brodeur against the rangers, especially since the rangers shut them out the last time they played.
