That hit on Bergeron was scary, always disheartening to see a guy drop to the ice like that after a hit. I'm not a Bruins fan, but I'm first and foremost a hockey fan, and I never, ever want to see something like that happen in this game. I had to stop and have a quick prayer for his safety, I was really worried about him.

There's less than 1,000 guys who can play hockey at an NHL level, out of over six billion, if one of them gets hurt, and it looks that bad, it's going to concern me. If anyone in this game gets hurt due to the carelessness of someone else, it concerns me. But to see it with my own eyes, and see someone down and out, it really hits me.

I know I might be a bit dramatic, but I play hockey, I live it. I feel a bond with everyone that plays. I know for a fact none of us want to get hit like that, and I know if something unfortunate like that does happen, we'd want the hockey community as a whole, to wish us well, and a hasty recovery.

So, amen, God bless, and let's hope the Ranger's get their butts in gear, eh?

I was at the game tonight and this team plays with no heart and grit. You cannot dump and chase with no hussle and on top of that the team is poorly coached. No one knows where any body is on the ice and they have no "set plays".

Having Hollweg, Orr and Struds in the line up with one of them on the 3rd line really limits the chances to put the puck in the net. These guys score 1 maybe 2 goals a season.

Call up Greg Moore. At least he will play with heart, grit and will have a better chance to scroe a goal then with Hollweg on the 3rd line.

Great game again by Dawes and Dubinsky. Hossa is getting more confident every game. Dawes - Drury - Shanny best line tonight.

Yeah, I don't want to read another post about how no one should worried, it's just chemistry and the goals will start coming by the bucket, etc. Something needs to happen. Wins don't just arrive.

I hope we don't lose anaother game the rest of the year and every bad thought I have about this team is proven wrong, but this is brutal. I don't even think the D has been that good. Henrik has been. Has -- he's great, but that stickhandling move was so obviously a mistake. I've never seen another team do so many things well and then suddenly attempt whatever the lowest percentage play is at the end. Not to mention just simply miss the net.

Ugh! Come on Rangers!!! Let's go!

Deja,
It appears it's going to be a long season. Barry Melrose stated that Toronto is the worst defensive team he has ever seen and yet the rangers not only just scored one goal but didn't even have many chances to score. I know, it's only ten games and than twenty, than thirty, so on and so on.

16 goals on the year....FEWEST IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! Players deserve the blame of course, but Moron Tom Renney doesn't help with this constant line juggling and failing to create cohesion.
