Four Mets at the game:

David Wright, Paul LoDuca, Chris Woodward, and notorious hockey fan Tom Glavine.

Maybe Tom Renney can plug them in on the power play, since right now, the Rangers’ unit is awful. For those of you scoring at home, they’ve now gone 10 man-advantages without a goal this season, and I’m fairly certain the last one was the worst.

We’re at 1-0 Flyers toward the end of the first after a Peter Forsberg goal.

About Author

  1. Rangers seemed to snap out of it a little, after a very poor first 15 minutes, especially weak by Tyutin, Betts, Jagr, and Rosival.

Flyers have been successful at MSG over the past 7 games, and it stems more from Rangers lack of intensity than anything else. Instead of coming out at home fired up, Rangers came out flat and disinterested for the first 15 minutes.

Hopefully, the Rangers will start getting into high gear in the second period.

  2. Sadly, the one guy in the bunch with serious hockey experience is Glavine – he was drafted, I think by the Kings – and if I’m not mistaken, he was a goalie.

  3. This is the correct weblog for anybody who needs to seek out out about this topic. You understand so much its virtually hard to argue with you (not that I truly would need…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just nice!
